Its sandpaper, duh. What else can I say. It works fine. I like 3M. It is just as good as the expensive stuff they sell in the woodworking sites.

I bought this sandpaper and it works and nicely removes out rust or other stains in my burners. I am happy to say this works.

Perfect for smoothening edges

Except that I use it to sharpen scissors. I have large 5 inch blade scissors and when they go dull I cut strips the length of the sand paper. This sharpens them better and easier.

I normally use the 3M pro grade paper. Tried this since I cant go to the hardware store. Each piece of pro grade paper lasts up to 1 hour, but these only last a couple of minutes. Not sure if they are fake or if its the difference between the pro and non-pro grade paper, but dont buy these, buy the pro grade ones since they last at least 20X longer.
