The Tegaderm film is an excellent product. Unfortunately, I have super thin skin that tears easily if I bump my arms. I end up with large skin flaps. I have to work hard to get the skin flat again, in hopes it will grow shut. This film is really nice, but when I placed a piece on my arm, it really melded to my skin, making it difficult to free an edge to attempt to remove,it. I am going to experiment with it in areas where the skin is a little stronger so I can see what works best for removal. That way, when I have my next tear, I will know exactly how to best remove it. I have read about getting it wet to help loosen it while showering, once the injury has healed

Does what its supposed to.....adheres well and reasonable cost for large box. We use them all the time as a second layer of protection to seal a transdermal medication patch.

Like it. First one was a bit hard to get off the backing. Just different then others we used. Stayed on body and devices. Big enough to cover insertion and over hose to hold it onto body better so the hose doesnt get snagged on anything.

Great quality and price - will buy again. Much better price than at the pharmacy.

I have some medical patches I need to wear. During showers, swimming or just a soak in the tub these work great to keep them dry and stuck on. When I remove them then use baby oil on and residue. Since I leave these on for 3 days usually, there does get a dirt ring around it. So I use the baby oil. It works great with almost no scrubbing.

Not bulky at all! I use this for my medtronic sensor and it stays on perfectly for at least a week! I highly recommend!

Tegaderm dressings are invaluable when youre dealing with a wound that routinely gets wet or is in a location where a Band-Aid wont work. Be sure to remove the backing paper slowly or you risk getting the dressing stuck to itself. Also, for smaller wounds you can cut the dressing in half without ruining it (and you can save the remaining half for your next misadventure).

I use Freestyle 14 day sensors. They are poorly designed, but effectively continuously track my blood sugar level. I pay over $37 per sensor with insurance! I say they are poorly designed because at least 22 times in the past two years, the sensor flew off my arm while i was removing clothing. I had started taping the sensor on with cloth tape, but it irritated my skin and peeled off after I showered. (marginally effective) There is nothing more frustrating than to see that much money lost needlessly and repeatedly. I have fought with my endocrinologist about switching brands, or finding a solution to this problem. FINALLY I read the Freestyle website and they mentioned this 3M patch. NOW I am happy. I snip a small diamond shaped hole out of the middle of the patch to allow the sensor to breathe and it fits perfectly over the sensor and holds it securely in place until I have used it for the full 14 days. I wish the manufacturer would supply these, but they dont. This is a perfect solution to my problem. I highly recommend this product for use with the Freestyle 14 day CGM monitor dot.
