> 3 dayI have wooden floors in my home that were treated with a sealer and then I use paste wax to buff them up from time to time. Works out great. I have a 14 Holt pro waxing machine I use and I use these pads to clean and apply the paste wax to the floor. Then I switch to the white ones to buff the floors. The results are excellent and I can get a few uses out of each pad before I have to throw them out due to the hard wax build up and dirt it picks up. I suppose using a liquid wax would enable me to wash this out after use, but over time it would get soft and wear out like a scrubby sponge. Great product and Great Price with free shipping.

22-11-2024I used the red pads to clean my hardwood flooring using sprayed vinegar and water. I think it slightly dulled the urethane finish. I used lambswool pad to buff the floor. Still did not shine like I wanted it to so I went over it twice with a white pad and the shine was restored. I think the answer is to use a white pad to clean the floor and a dry white pad to buff the floor for a nice shine. I would forget using the red pads or the lambskin. It is the safe way to go if your floor is finished with gloss urethane. The small round pad that you get from the center of the white buffer pad makes a great tool for getting in corners or removing tough scuff marks.
