> 3 dayThese are nice alternatives for your small bird. I used one for my senegal parrot that has a bad foot and he likes to sit on it for treats. And, of course, it is chewable. My finch also has a bad leg but it wasnt useful for him. Im still searching for other alternatives. I take in rescues and they often have old injuries where I need to get creative so they can live comfortably. And any bird needs different ways to perch to relieve pressure in the same places on their feet.

> 3 dayThe product came in fast and looked great but if you were thinking of buying it to put in a rats cage, dont do it. The smell of fir is too strong for their lungs.

> 3 dayI opened the package and the split wood smelled like Cedar. The description said it was Fir wood, but I’m allergic to Cedar, and my hands started itching. Cedar can be toxic to Cockatiels, as is pressure treated wood. Who knows, maybe a Cedar tree was accidentally cut or put into the wood pile. I would love to trust this, but I love my birds more. The circle pieces smell like Poplar wood. The description says there is no chemicals, however also says it’s fumigated before leaving the shop. I’m just going to send it back. I’m not taking the chance on “fumigated” wood either. My information came from Pets.the nest.com Please consider before purchasing.
