So my apartment was wired all crazy. This tool helped me identify and label my coaxial cables, which allowed me to DIY some cable internet wiring without needing to bring in an engineer/technician from my Internet Service Provider. Ill be keeping the tool set for any future needs.

Faced with identifying the correct cable in a rats nest at the home utility closet, I got this. Of course, the correct cable was the 9th I tested. Note that a battery and a coax gender adapter are inside the cloth case, the 4 colored identifiers are in the storage unit at the bottom of the tester itself. Youll need a small Philips screwdriver to open the battery compartment (thats the only bad part of the whole design.)

Purchased to check cable runs to distribution panel. Everything works well. Only item needed to complete checking cables was a small connector (see photo 2) not included in kit. You can not connect cable to unit without this piece. Package arrived on time and in good condition.
