18-11-2024This stuff is great for making wiring harnesses and adding a little extra protection to wire assemblies. I highly recommend it for this type of work.

Greater than one weekI have always used the slick plastic tape like GM used for wire looms, but I was restoring a British sports car and wanted to be more authentic so I tried this fabric tape. I LOVE IT, It sticks to itself just fine and makes a very attractive wrap for the looms. They look more professional to me. Anyway, just to be safe, at the last wrap at the end it is best to either tie it off, wrap it a couple of times with electrical tape, or a tiny zip tie. Highly recommend it!

> 3 dayits not the same cloth tape that comes wrapped in stock vehicles. Its a thin felt-like tape, and I doubt I ll use it

> 3 dayIts wire loom tape. Best to get a couple boxes if doing an entire harness. It comes with a lot, but it doesnt take long to be finishing a roll and on to the next one. Not a complaint against the tape, its simply the nature of the job.

> 3 dayI had to do a lot or re wrapping on my wiring on my truck and everything used with this tape has unwound. Most of it is hidden under split loom, but where I used it to bunch up at the branches looks like crap over the course of a few weeks. I will have to redo most of this.

> 3 dayThis is a great product. I am slowly refreshing my 2003 Porsche Boxster S and this has been perfect to give my car that new feeling again. I know, no one but me will know all the wiring in the dash and under the seats and behind the carpet is all taped up like it was new, but I will!

18-11-2024Thin, cheaper version of the OEM stuff. Rolls over on itself too easily. Glue seems adequate for the purpose but definitely not what I would call sticky.
