This item can be used in many ways and in many places. The strips of bubbles were hung from open doorways and along an existing fireplace hearth to create the illusion of a wall of cascading bubbles. This was a definite add to the underwater theme for my granddaughters birthday party. Because the strips are individual they could be hung with overlapping strips and then open areas to still allow people to walk through the doorways without disturbing the decorations. The bubbles were sturdy and have been put away for future parties. Everything was usable and nothing arrived damaged. Some of the strips were clear and others were iridescent. I am very pleased with this purchase.

If you have something to tie the ends to is great if not youre having to tie a very thin tiny piece of thread to whatever youre tying it to. I had to put a push pin in the end of it to put it where I needed to have it put

The photos of the product are a bit misleading. They look like a thicker clear plastic or acrylic in the photos, but when I received them they are just thin pieces of plastic that they printed bubbles onto, then cut and sewed them together. They may be good for a childs birthday party decoration, but not for anything else. I was really excited to receive these for what I was intending on using them for, but now Im very disappointed and will be returning.

I purchased these bubble garlands to decorate my childs bathroom, which has a Catlantis theme, and they do not disappoint! Each of the four garlands spans at least four feet on a fine, silvery cord that fades into the background against medium and darker-toned painted walls. If youre worried about how obvious the garland thread is, it is very unobtrusive. The bubbles themselves are flat and iridescent, given a bit of dimension by soft white frosting that fades right in. Better still, the bubbles come in lots of different sizes and the photos here are accurate: there are large ones right down to small ones not much larger than a loonie or a golf ball. The garlands weigh very little; two pieces of magic tape hold them up adequately against the wall, though you want to be careful detangling them or unfolding them because the aforementioned silver thread connecting them is still pretty fragile. These really are a great buy -- perfect for decorating for a party or, in our case, long-term.
