> 3 dayI needed something to keep the medicine cabinet door from opening too far and banging into the glass cover of the light. The bathroom is cramped so I was stuck with the design. I was fortunate that the length fit my needs. It is well built and easily withstands the surprise abrupt tug that occurs when someone opens the cabinet door. Without the restraint I probably would be going on my fifth replacement of the bathroom light. Maybe some day this will be available in various sizes. I happen to be lucky that the size that is offered was what I needed.

Greater than one weekWhoever remodeled the kitchen before we bought our house didnt account for the fact that when one of the cabinet doors opened, the knob would hit the edge of the wall, which ended up damaging the drywall and exposing the corner bead. I bought this and installed it, patched & painted the drywall and forgot about it. I realized that sometimes it is a real testament to how well something works when you forget all about having installed it (it means it is working)!

Greater than one weekThey were really easy to install (once I watched the video) and now my cabinet door handles are not ‘marking’ up the cabinet they were opening onto. I had 5 cabinets I had to do and it really didn’t take much time at all. Love these!

Greater than one weekI love that these are made in the USA! Not many things are anymore. That said, theyre also very well made (strong) with slightly offset ends to make closing the wire not bunch up when the cabinet doors theyre attached to close, Im guessing. I used both on medicine cabinets that kept hitting the wall. Drilling the initial pilot hole into the glass door was tricky due to glass placement. I was afraid I was going to break the glass that I was trying to protect. but after that personal problem was handled, installation was a breeze.

> 3 dayThese worked perfectly on our newly installed cabinets. Be sure to watch the video on their website. I used one of the suggested alternate installs because of my cabinet type.

> 3 dayVery effective way to prevent cabinet doors from hitting each other. I dont think the hinges are strong enough to hold a heavy or full door from hitting a wall. If one is handy, the hinges are not difficult to install.

> 3 dayMy wife bought an expensive console for the TV/AV equipment and to store DVDs, games etc. It has a center compartment designed for the PS4 (etc.) but its door swings down and is supported only by its hinges. I could see that kids would drop the door with force and break the hinges out of the oak frame. I placed one of these on each side of the door to inhibit stress on the hinges, and it works perfectly. Thanks! Saved a nice piece of furniture from damage.
