> 24 hourForget about sandpaper, wire brushes or Brillo Pad type wheels. These are made from Polymer. They are tough, make little shave off debris and are flexible. I just started restoring vintage revolvers and happened on the Radial Bristle Discs here on Amazon as I was about to order more of the Brillo type attachments for my Dremel. The difference between these two technologies is simply amazing. The Radial Discs last 4 times as long as the others and do an excellent job at stripping to bare metal then working up the grit to a polish disc. Dont do this kind of work without them.

> 24 hourUsing these to sand detail areas of a coffee table they fly apart the second I touch them to the wood. They may work well polishing but I purchased them to take my coffee table back down to bare wood so that I could stain it. They are useless for this purpose. To be clear my intent is to only use them on the intricate detail sections of the table where a small sanding block does not reach.

> 24 hourI use these disks to sand metal for jewelry. I have used it on my hammer to take scratches out as well and it worked great on the scratches that werent too deep. The scratches that are deeper, I am going to have to file them, then use the disks to sand them, then I can pre-polish, and last polish it. I would buy them again unless, I find something else that works better for the price. Which I dont think I will.

> 24 hourIve never used this type before. If memory serves, this type of abrasive bit had just been released by 3M when life detoured me away from jewelry making years ago. While I cant give you an opinion on how these compare to the 3M variety, I can say that Im impressed and wish these had been available when I started my journey in silversmithing. Wow, these are versatile and handy. Not sure about durability, but I used various grits last night for hours on Argentium Silver (more silver content and harder than traditional Sterling silver) and none of them are showing much in the signs of wear and tear. Will be purchasing again when needed. Many people are griping about the amount of mandrels that comes with these, as in, while you get many, its not quite enough to have one of each grit available at the same time. Super easy work around folks, you can buy multi packs of mandrels on Amazon fairly cheap. Im planning on doing that anyway, because they are stackable, and it would be handy to not only have one of each grit mounted and ready to work, but also a few ready to go stacked grits for covering larger areas faster.

> 24 hourWorked surprisingly well had my doubts about rubber sanding discs. Only problem I had was telling the difference between grits. The color of discs didnt really match the color of them on the paper
