This was such a surprise to me - as this would have been my third Anker charger for Android - but sadly the unit failed to ever accept a charge, even after 6 hours plugged in. The pass-thru function worked OK, using it as a plugged in adapter, which confirmed my Anker brand cable (yup, I had one here), my Samsung phone and tablet, were all OK.

After using my S23 Ultra and draining the battery for the first time down to 30% I plugged it into the Anker Ace 45w brick and got to 100% in 46 minutes. Its flies up to 9X% then the phone slows it down as to not over charge. The whole time my phone was charging the charger or phone wasnt overly hot but warm. Ill definitely be buying another one or two of these the next deal that pops up. Ive used Anker cables and chargers exclusively for at least 6 years because their products, warranty, and customer service are all top notch. Make sure you pair this with Ankers 5A cable so you get full 45w super fast charging 2.0. If youre using Samsungs cable they provide with the S23 Ultra youre not getting super fast charging 2.0.

The superfast charging feature is inconsistent, sometimes it starts with superfast charging 2.0 and after few seconds it changes to only fast charging in samsung s23+

I have Samsung S23 Ultra. When using this charger compared to another 45W fast charger, my phone screen didnt show fast charging but only charging, and its required couple minutes more to be fully charged than using another 45W fast charger. Just so you know!
