We recently installed 21 of these caps on the 4x4 railing posts on a new boathouse. Easy to install and look great. We live on the Texas Gulf Coast where corrosion is a big problem. So the powder-coated aluminum was perfect for us.

This post cap is well constructed, and the powder coating looks to be very durable. Color matched screws are great. Well worth the price.

Liked they were heavy painted metal and fits a 3.5x3.5 wooden post. Suggestions would be in a flat white rather than glossy white since wooden post they go on top of are not glossy. Second is a deeper lip where the screws go. All holes have to be drilled to avoid splitting since the hole is so close to the top of the post. Worth the $!
