Some campground sites only you an 50A service. This was idea fix for my camper

The intended usage for the socket end seems to be direct cable-to-cable connection - its too fat (diameter) and too short to nicely seat in a weathertight box without modification (photo shows post modification usage intended). I was able to shave it down to fit, due to a time-crunch. Otherwise, Id have returned it to look elsewhere for my application. Price seems good, and it seems sturdy.

I can hook up anywhere now.
