This borescope is an excellent product for the price point. The incorporated screen is ideal for those who dont want to deal with having to connect a scope to their smartphone. The screen is a nice size and very clear. Resolution is adequate. I like being able to flip the image 180 degrees on the screen so you dont have to try and rotate the camera. The duel side-camera is also a great feature. This item would be perfect with 2 additional features: 1) a touchscreen and 2) wifi or bluetooth data transmission. Overall a good value for the device and serves perfectly for my needs with my DIY projects.

This camera is made to go in drains, or walls that you can’t get to. Perfect for that, but I have even used it to inspect my rings, check the garbage disposal, and find the lost sock behind the dryer!

Super easy to use. They have a cheat sheet to ensure you connect the probe properly. Setup takes a minute to get the date and time. There are several other settings like resolution and brightness.

As a homeowner, I was in search of a reliable tool that would help me inspect pipes, air ducts, and other hard-to-reach areas around my home. Thats when I stumbled upon the DS520 dual-lens sewer inspection camera, and it has been a game-changer ever since!

The first time I got a DEPSTECH device was the wireless endoscope, which while it did work it was a hassle having to set it up with my iPad which stretched the image a bit much at times for it to be truly clear, but it was still usable. The camera approach on this new device makes it very convenient to look at areas of concern for potential issues without the need of an external device (except to share the photos or footage with people not able to view it directly). Once you make sure your scope is completely plugged into the main device where it receives video and emits light from the end, you are good to go. I used it to look into a wall cavity with a portion of wall that seemed to be bulging out to look for mold. I didn’t post any photos because I found no mold, it was just the wood bowing.

Camera comes in a nice sturdy semi-hard zip bag. It is supplied with a nice camera cable that easily unplugs from the head end. It has a USB C charging port and cable as well as a small accessory jar with right angle mirror, hook and magnet to pickup items that may fall down a drain or into a tight spot where you cannot reach with your hands. Screen size is nice at 5 and the camera image is crisp and clear. Tested it out on a customers car to check brake pads. The buttons are easily accessed when held in your right hand.

First thing read the manual, less than 7 pages and its multi language. Its all there, step by step. They really made it easy. Plug in the USB extension camera cable, this part I would say was just a little tricky as its a real snug fit. Especially when you put it away take your time to disconnect. I used this camera to get behind a wall cavity that had foam insulation. What is really nice about this model is that it has dual lenses. It comes in real handy. One on the front and one on the side. With one push of a button you can swap views and if you need to perform a split screen that is also supported. Side by side view and you can also rotate the image with a button vs having to turn the camera or cable in weird angles. Having a tool like this at your disposal really makes some jobs much easier. The other item where this camera shines is in its focus, it seems to be faster than most I have tried in the past.. The resolution can also be changed from 1080p to 720 very easily, just in case you take video vs snap shots on the embedded storage card. All in all, great little camera. Breaks down easily for storage and fits nicely into its padded zippered case. For data transmission of pics / video it uses a USB-C type cable so that they can be easily transferred to a PC. Next Job will be installing recessed light fixtures behind sheetrock in the celling, so the long reach on the flexible but stiff cable as well as the bright led light will certainly come in handy.

Only other possible option at this price point would be the 3-camera model, which I would highly recommend as well for few dollars extra! It is a game changer and I reach for it all the time now!
