> 3 dayI know the dimensions were posted for this bag; however, its much larger than I anticipated. I thought it would be too small. Its perfect. Really deep. Sturdy. Stands on its own. The water bottle holders fit 1 liter poland spring bottles completely. The side pockets are alright. Small, but good for holding things like screwdrivers and tools. I havent found a use for the front outer pocket. Its a bit tight. Maybe some folded documents. The maglite holder is useless. It will fit on a 4D+ maglite which is fine; but, it wont hold it secure and it slips out from the back end and hangs. The pockets and pen holders on the inside of the flap are great. I have pens, phone charger, batteries for flashlight, and medicine in this part. The larger interior pocket is great. Very deep and wide enough to fit a Cold Steel Trench Hawk in. (Or SOG Tactical Hawk). Right now with the dividers I have a Trench hawk, Gerber LMF 2 in the longer section. 4 boxes of 9mm (50rnd) ammo in the smaller section. A change of clothes and a box of (200) nitrile gloves. There is plenty of room for more stuff. I purchased this bag as a go bag for my car for everyday. Still have to fill it with more stuff like medical supplies, etc. The construction of this bag is great. Im really liking the 5.11 brand. (I havent tried their boots; but seeing them on other people after use and hearing them complain about comfort I doubt Ill be switching from bates any time soon.) The only complaint I have is the divider on the inside is a bit hard to attach properly. Its great that it can be removed but its a little tricky getting the velcro seated perfect. Not really an issue just anal about it. Perfect size to hold a lot of gear and still fits perfectly on a front seat. Highly recommend this bag.

> 3 dayI was using a dept issued bag with any compartments and it was a daily struggle to keep it organized. Now having little pockets here and there and the center divider, my life at work is so much more organized. I actually carry more stuff with me now because I have a spot to put much more items and It fits perfectly across the front seat of a Crown Victoria. My only gripe is the center divider seems to bend towards the back of the bag because I guess I have too many items stuffed into the front side of the divider. It makes it hard to put stuff on the backside of the divider. Other than that its a great bag and would buy another without a second thought.

> 3 dayI would prefer a few more pocket options, but for the price and quality, its great.

> 3 dayI work in EMS and was looking for a good work bag. The patrol bag definitely suits my needs for something small enough but large enough to hold everything I could need in a shift.

> 3 dayI’ve been a cop for about a year and I finally got this duty bag. I used a 5.11 large backpack for way too long and it sucked. This duty bag is good quality and most people at my department use this same one. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

> 3 dayI purchased a 5.11 bag for my husband 10 years ago!! The old one is still holding up. No rips or tears. It can hold weight. This includes his belt and accessories ( which you know is heavy all together). I only purchased this new one simply because the old one looks faded and run down. This new bag is heavy duty, thick, and can support all of your gear. Its the perfect size to haul it from your vehicle to your work vehicle repeatedly! It can take a beating. It has a support for the bottom of the bag, removable walls, and heavy duty velcro inside. What he loves about this bag also is that the padding for the strap is made of a high quality rubber , right where it would sit on your shoulder. It prevents the bag from slipping off your shoulder. It also has velcro on the top for a velcro patch but the patch isnt included. I absolutely recommend this for the rough goers that might go threw alot of bags because this one holds up and absolutely does NOT look cheap!!

> 3 dayIve had this thing for a while now. The only complaint is that I wish the lid had a loop to attach it to the headrest because it keeps sliding down between the seat and the bag and I find this irritating. Other than that, the bag has held up really well and has a good amount of room for all my patrol crap. The adjustable dividers are convenient but when I hastily throw small itms into one pocket they roll right on over to the next one.

> 3 dayLooks like a great bag, but is not what the page suggests and will not suit my needs because of this. Bag is much larger than they specify - 18.5 x 12 x 8 are the inside dimensions of the large pocket and do not account for the external pockets. Actual size is more like 22 x 9 x 12 (they spec L x H x W rather than L x W x H). Also, the third product image shows what looks to be a removable carrier segmented into 3 even sections and a bag. These are nowhere to be found. The internal dividers are velcrod in place and while removable, are not adjustable. There is only velcro installed in specific places and you cannot reconfigure the internal dividers. See photos for layout - is not what you would expect given image 3 above. One more caveat, the id holder window is not prominently displayed on the front as the image suggests but alone by itself on the back of the bag. There are pockets on the inside of the lid that arent shown in the product page (they are a nice touch and look useful, but another deviation from what was described). Outside of not being what they advertised, the bag looks awesome. Well made, strong velcro, pockets in the right places. Actually very annoyed it will not work for my application due to size and internal configuration.

> 3 dayThe bag is made out of sturdy material, lots of pockets and compartments, however I had to return it because it was too big for what I needed it
