The product is affordable and easy to replace. I read thru reviews that #1 reason why it is returned was in compatibility and the seller advised to ask them before ordering. I posted a question, seller answered it within a day and i had the filter within 2 days. Amazing!! And at a fraction of a cost.

The original ones from LG are crazy expensive but when you actually pull these out and look at them, it’s literally a cheap piece of plastic with a small perforated sheet over top of it. I don’t even see how airflow is even doing much of anything through them so I certainly wasn’t going to pay OEM prices for these cheap little things. So this price was way better for a six pack, which was still less than even one of the original LG brand. The photos show a side-by-side. They look identical, and on the view of the backs, the one with tape around all four edges is actually this aftermarket one where the version with only a piece of tape on the top and bottom is the one that came with the fridge. I would certainly buy these again since they seem like they don’t do much anyway and they’re way cheaper than original.

Switched ours out to a new one & it eliminated the odors from our garlicky leftovers overnight!
