Greater than one weekThese kinds of scrubbers always seemed more expensive than what they should be, so sI bought these at what I figured was a good value. After using them for a few months now, I can say that they do work well at the scrubbing part and do not fall apart easily, so Im giving them 5 stars. I would point out, however, that you need to keep in mind that they are stainless steel, so they might very well scratch softer metals. Ive been careful to only use them on the inside of my pans that are all of a similar stainless steel. I wont be experimenting using them on the outside of my copper pans, being nervous that they would scratch. The other point to consider is that the wires these are made of are pretty thick, which has me thinking that this would add to the danger of scratching softer metal.

> 3 dayI hadnt cleaned my toilet in 3 years. The dark ring that built up was starting to have a life of its own. Tried brushes and sponges with bleach but it had little effect. Then I bought these and it took less then 5 minutes to clean it.

> 3 dayWhen theres lots of company, food, and always a cleanup, I have been noticing that I can go through 2 or 3 regular Steel Wool Soap pads in a cleanup. I thought back to my Navy days and being assigned on ship to 3 months of cleaning pots (the Scullery: 7 days a week, 12 hours a day). These are the things we used (a little tougher though -- we had to wear heavy rubber gloves). I decided to give these a try. I just use them with regular dishwashing liquid. Now, two months after I bought them, Im still using the first one.

> 3 dayI use these on my steel wok, metal baking pans and cast iron skillet. Terrific always, has no soap so I can use whatever product I want to clean without concern for how it might interact. Doesn’t rust as Brillo pads do and rinses out completely so can be used more than once or twice. Old fashioned but does the job
