I was excited to receive these since there were 60 pcs for about $20, instead of $5 per wheel for the Dremel brand wheels. My project was removing rust from heavy iron grilling grates. I had already used the only two wire brush heads that came with my original Dremel Tool set, they were enough to almost finish one whole grate (in the first pic) front and back. When I got this set, after less than 10 minutes eight brushes were already worn out (they only lasted a couple minutes each, and one of the brush heads flew out altogether the first moment it made contact with the grate (in the second pic). Additionally (and nearly as frustrating) while I was working with them, I could feel the tiny wires (in the third pic) flying off the brush head and hitting me in the face/neck/body. After I decided to stop because I could tell I was gonna burn through the whole set and not even finish a single grate, it took me about 20 minutes to stand there and pull out dozens and dozens of tiny steel wires from my clothes and skin. And if you dont take them out they stay in your clothes and feel like needles are pricking you throughout the day. Unfortunately this was a terrible product for me. Im surprised the other reviews are so positive. Maybe if youre only using them for something very light duty, they might work better, but I dont see the point of a light duty carbon steel wire brush.

These wire wheels are very cheaply made - I guess thats why they cost $.28/piece. They work fairly well on a 2-speed Dremel rotary tool on LOW speed, but when you go to HIGH speed they fall apart. Literally. I was using these brushes to clean out old lock tite and gasket seal from the threads on M6 and M8 engine casing bolts before reinstalling the bolts. I switched to HIGH speed and I was suddenly being pelted by metal fibers! I had metal fibers stuck all over my shirt, and the wire brush ended up looking like a porcupine that was having a very bad day. Not recommended unless youre only going to use these brushes on LOW speed.

Wow these little brushes do a amazing job on rust removal in tight spots. Extremely happy with them 3 tires later and still on the same brush so good durability imo.

Cheap. Worked for what I needed. Just cleaning off some surface rust and grime (off a SMALL area). Not a high quality. You get what you pay for. I didn’t have many shavings fly off. I also just use it for simple things. I don’t expect this to last long. I don’t expect to remove a bunch of rust from a huge piece using this type of item. Overall good price. Decent items. Huge set of like 50 pieces so use and dispose as needed. This set will last me a year or two and once I loose or throw away all the pieces I’ll order one again when I need one!

I like the amount of brushes for the cost and the different sizes but you need to be very careful because they throw off wires like crazy. Wear long sleeves and face shield and be prepared to have wires sticking in your sleeves. Im going to try to place a few drops of super glue at the base of each one to see if it might help.

Purchased this to use with my Dremel tool to remove rust from my brake calipers so that I could paint them. This should not be an Amazon Choice due to a safety issue. As many reviews have noted, these don’t last long and they shoot the tiny wires everywhere. I am very thankful for the reviews that prompted me to wear a face mask and eye protection. I used my vacuum cleaner attachment and suctioned with my left hand to catch flying bristles, while I used the Dremel in my right hand.

work good but made in china so they fly apart sooner than youd like, and little metal wires go everywhere beware.

These wire wheels really shed their bristles and can be quite dangerous. Always use eye protection and sweep up or use a magnet after using to ensure that bristles dont get tracked into your house. Had to put one out of my foot.
