> 3 dayBought these to detail my engine, and engine compartment. Needed to get rid of corrosion, rust, and deterioration of my engines aluminum (unsure what exactly it was - pitted and discolored). These are way smaller than I was expecting, and did not last very long (especially the ones that have the perpendicular wires). With a high speed, I was going through these things at a rate of about 1 per 3-5 minutes, depending on which brush I was using. Unfortunately, they dont wear down the brushes like I was expecting (unsure if other brands do), the wires simply become detached, which results in you being pelted with little metal wires. definitely USE GOGGLES, and (assuming you are using these for a sizable amount of time - about 4 hours in my case (during which time I went through almost all 60 wire brushes)) count on having to throw away the clothes you were wearing, or spend hours picking out wires, which is even more difficult than it sounds. That said, they did the job, and Im sure glad it came with so many. If other brands have the same issue, this task would have been ridiculously expensive.

> 3 dayThese are low RPM , if you try to use them at fast rpm they will fall apart fast

> 3 dayI use a lot of these for cleaning automotive electrical connections and lamp sockets. When used hard, they dont last all that long, but that is to be expected, as the wire bristles are very fine and will slowly break. As such, when using these (or any similar type product), be sure to wear an apron and eye protection! A wire in the eye can ruin your whole day! These are a much better deal than the official ones sold by the makers of the rotary tool.

Greater than one weekThese wire wheels are very cheaply made - I guess thats why they cost $.28/piece. They work fairly well on a 2-speed Dremel rotary tool on LOW speed, but when you go to HIGH speed they fall apart. Literally. I was using these brushes to clean out old lock tite and gasket seal from the threads on M6 and M8 engine casing bolts before reinstalling the bolts. I switched to HIGH speed and I was suddenly being pelted by metal fibers! I had metal fibers stuck all over my shirt, and the wire brush ended up looking like a porcupine that was having a very bad day. Not recommended unless youre only going to use these brushes on LOW speed.

> 3 dayI have a 30 year old Dremel Tool, and this is the perfect set for all my cleaning and polishing needs, I like the three pieces for doing small and hard to get at places.Just use it at slow speeds and they will last longer.

Greater than one weekThese are not as good as Dremel brand, but they last for a decent amount of time if used for what they are intended for. I restore old small equipment engines and these work fine for polishing and cleaning small parts. Other reviews say they do not last, but they are obviously using them for things that they are not intended. These are not made for removing heavy rust or paint. Definitely worth the price for what you get.

> 3 dayGood product for the cost. The conical shaped brushes flatten out at higher RPMs. The brushes don’t last too long but you get what you pay for!

> 3 dayGreat for buffing diecast cars after you’ve stripped the paint off of them. Just make sure you buff them outside or cover up cuz little metal wires fly everywhere

> 3 dayI do a LOT of detail work, so I run through lots of these. I made the mistake of buying some no-name brushes on the basis of price alone. They flew apart while in operation, throwing little bits of wire everywhere. These dont do that. They are not quite the same quality as those made by Dremel, but considering that Dremel gets around $5 for two of them, these are a bargain that get the job done.

> 3 dayI gave 4 stars because: 1) order arrived on promised day about noon. This was good because I got the rest of the days use of product. 2) opened box & counted-received exact qty ordered. 3) giving benefit of doubt on quality till I use some. I examined the T shaped brushes. Their assembly is inconsistent. On about 10 of 20 it looks like the pieces were poorly aligned before compression & the parts that hold the wires are not parallel. I believe those will come apart most easily. I intend to update review after using some. UPDATE-for my current project, I used primarily the T brushes (round & flat, attached to the end of the mandrel). My earlier assessment was accurate-those with poorly-aligned parts spun apart in a shorter time. In all fairness, name-brand brushes lasted only a little longer than those assembled accurately. That makes the value for the money pretty good. After all, these brushes are consumable, like sandpaper. The mix of 3 types was not good for my needs this time. Maybe Ill need the other types later, but Id have preferred all 1 type. In the end, Ill give 3-1/2 stars which rounds up to 4. OH...YOU MUST MUST MUST WEAR EYE PROTECTION USING THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT AN EYE INJURY. I recommend a face shield & long sleeves (2 layers better) unless you enjoy tiny wires sticking in you.
