These are nice heavy-duty tongs. The silicon tips help to better grip food and are nonstick. They are nine inches long and are naturally heat resistant! A quality set of tongs for any kitchen. Heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

First off, these are just excellently designed tongs - rigid yet with flexible tips, they make grabbing food easy. I was a bit concerned the silicone teeth would make it slippery, but they hold food just great. The silicone on the handles has a little thumb indent that makes grabbing them easy and secure. The latch system, where you can pull up on the loop on the back end to lock the tongs in the closed position is genius - no more having tongs spring open in the drawer to jam things up! Add in the fact that these tongs are easy to clean, and Im impressed - about the only thing you lose with these is the ability to test-clack the tongs as you walk out to the grill (every dad knows what Im talking about!)

So I recently upgraded my stove to a much higher BTU burner and quickly found out that I definitely do not have the heat tolerance when those burners are on high. I have plenty of 12 and 6 inch tongs but they were always too short for applications like putting things into a steamer or deep frying where I didnt want to burn my hands, this 16” one is perfect though! It’s just far enough away that I am comfortably out of the hot zone. The construction of the tongs are pretty good nothing super cheap and nothing that I would say makes it super special compared to other average tong. Recommend for the price.

These are so handy in the kitchen. The tongs have silicone at the tips, so I dont have to worry about scratching my cookware. The silicone on the handles however do not cover all of the metal so it seems a little pointless outside of the fact that it gives better grip, but not complete protection from heat. I like that the tongs have the ability to be locked closed for storage purposes. The tongs hold up great in high heat without issues. Overall, the tongs are great quality and work well, but I wish the silicone completely covered the lower ends.

Thrilled with this set of tongs. They are replacing a cheaper set that lacked the rubber tips. These grab great without scratching my pans. They have powerful spring action and a nice silicone grip handle. There is a locking mechanism so you can close them for storage. I have the silver and black tongs. They dont just look professional, they ARE professional. I have no complaints about these. I suspect they will last longer than me. Highly recommend.
