This is a nice, thick, flat sheet of aluminum. My parrot chews things, and when she chews on towels on my bed when I watch TV, she can (and has) chewed right through to the bedcover. This piece of aluminum below her towel was just the thing I needed. I just smoothed the edges a little bit and rounded the corners.

Nothing wrong with it and I keep on ordering more whenever it runs out. Hope it was a little cheaper thought!

Its about 11 7/8 on a side, thats OK for me but if you need exactly 12 by 12 you might have a problem.

These sheets are flat, as one would want if machining cutouts.

The plates were what I was looking for but had to spend a pretty good amount of time with a flat file and a die grinder to get the edges cleaned up enough for my application.

It comes with protective layers of plastic on both sides, which is appreciated. The machine edge is straight but has lines on the edge from how it was cut, which I dont mind but some may.
