Difficult to put together. And the original plug for outlet needs to be tighter to keep it plugged in

So I wasn’t happy having the blink box just sitting on the floor with this long cord hanging out. This little thing made the device look so much better. Took about 1 minute to install and again looks a million times better.

If you have the sync module, I do highly recommend you purchase this. Honestly it just keeps it in place and it looks more in place and organized vs having the sync module just laying wherever it is connected. I really liked it and it even comes with a small cable so theres no large cables hanging around. This even came with a memory flash drive which you can see in one of my photos.

Cord was too short from module to plug block, cant use it. Cheap plastic.

So far, so good with this! I got the 64b USB and I usually delete videos daily, so its working for us. Love that it all fits neatly at the outlet (no issues with it being loose or not fitting tightly). There are no instructions on how to set it up on the Blink app, but its really easy. You just plug everything in and make sure your sync module is connected back to your wifi. Open up the app and at the very bottom of the home tab select Sync Module. Then select Local Storage and follow the directions from there. Once its set-up, go to the video tab and you should see the option at the top to see cloud or USB videos. The USB videos do take a little longer to load, but just by a few seconds. After I selected that, the cloud storage option disappeared, but I dont have a cloud storage plan with Blink, because you dont need it with this!

Sync 2 module was easy to set up. Sometimes I get a message saying its not reading flashdrive. I will give further review after 30 day free trial. *Update*After a few weeks of sync module working great all of a sudden all cameras and module will not connect to wifi. My wifi is strong and all my other wifi devices working fine. Im glad this happened before the 30 day trial free was over. *Update 2* After trying all day everything just started working again. I dont know if the blink server was down on there end. If that was the case maybe an email should be sent to let us know so we dont have to go crazy resetting everything. So I will give it another chance before I pay for service.

We are super happy with our set very easy to set up and install download the app and you can see everything from your device watch and talk live or watch triggered recordings and adjust all kinds of settings for each individual camera. The microphone is incredible we can hear the neighbors across the street like they are on our porch, (maybe too good) havent had a problem yet.

Neatly keeps sync module and wires in compact space. Loose fit between plate and plug. It does not hold tightly. Would be best if they designed the charger as part of the plate so that it is one piece. Make the prongs a tad bit longer so it fully seats in the wall socket. One other thing. The reset button on the sync module is above the USB slot and below the retaining clip. Its hard to see it to reset the device. Especially when its plugged into a wall socket and low to the ground. Repositioning the reset 90 from the USB slot so its on top would be more helpful. Overall, works fine. Just a few minor improvements.

This solves a space issue and fits compactly against the wall. However, the USB drive was missing from the package. Im waiting to hear back whether or not theyll send me the drive or I have to exchange it. That would be inconvenient.

My son has this setup and I wanted it. So far I use it when I am away from my house. I think for the money it is well worth it.
