Yes, these work but just not as expected. Theyre not as bright as Id hoped. so ended up changing my original plan (perimeter lighting) to using it as a tree wrap. Even though its rated for outdoor the plug isnt water proof. I wrapped the plug and cord in saran wrap with hopes of provided a tiny bit of protection. I do like the multiple patterns the lights provide, along with ease of installation. Just wish it was brighter.

These rope lights are super beautiful. They light up with a variety of colors and brighten a room. I used them to decorate my daughters room and she is obsessed. They were also super easy to put up and use.

I curate a cabin at a Boy Scout camp and there is a section that is dark at night. I thought about getting a length of LED strip lights but the ones I tried, the LEDs were too bright a pinpoint. These SINGCHUNGTE rope lights are encased in a length of tubing, protected from damage, and I think they will be jus the ting to ight the dark corners of our cabin. I did a test run in the hallway basement of my house and I think they will do the trick. They would also be a great accent for your porch or deck railing or any other outside house accent you would like. Good on SINGCHUNGTE! This is a very nice set of string lights.

The colors are beautiful. Brighter than it looks in the picture. I ordered it for my patio and can’t wait to use it. I love that the tiny bulbs are covered and hopefully will last long.

The lights themselves give off a nice yellow glow but they aren’t the brightest. Don’t expect to use as a main source of light, more like an accent lighting effect.

There was nothing about these lights that I didnt like. 8 different modes to choose from so you are able to get the effect you are looking for. I have placed these lights in the flowerbeds in front and on the side of my home and they make the space look magical. I think they will look even better after more plant growth making the tubing less visible in the daylight hours. I would definitely recommend these lights.
