> 24 hourThe filters work great, When I remove them, I take the unit outside and blow it off with a leaf blower. If your Homes fan stats to squeal, tilt it forward while hitting the top, turn in on and off a couple times and keep banging on the top. This will knock any dirt that may have gotten into the baring. This method has worked twice for me. Never, never try to oil your unit, it will only collect more dirt.
