> 24 hourMy husband uses this SwissGear luggage. It’s solid and glides smooth. Plenty of space for a small luggage. The hard shell makes it more heavy duty but it is lightweight.

> 24 hourSo this is one of those carry-on suitcases that you can expand if you need to (or stuff it full, sit on it, and then zip the expansion back full heheh) thats also hard-sided to protect the inside. Its loaded with features including shoe pockets!!! I really like it and hope to take it on more trips in the future. So far its only taken two flights and held up well both times. You can really wheel it around any way you like, and its nimble and easy to maneuver even when I had to take it with me into an airport bathroom stall. Zipper jammed a little wee bit the first time I zipped it all the way shut (no I was not sitting on it trying to overstuff it!) but zero problems since then.

> 24 hourHavent been traveling as much, but have used this couple times and already liking it way more than my old softshell. Good use of space inside, and the extra compartments do give this some extra versatility.

> 24 hourWe often travel for work, short and long distances, fly or drive and typically stay in between 3-10 days range. I prefer to avoid checking my luggage most of the time, for that reason was just looking for a new reliable carry-on that is durable and provides plenty of space I need for up to 10 days of stay. This was the hit! This carry-on luggage fits well in the overhead bin, backseat, front seat, truck bed, pretty much every spot I tried to tuck it in, it fit with ease and is reasonably lightweight itself, so you are not adding more weight to what you carry. Exterior is hard material that is extremely durable and very well made.

> 24 hourThis is a lightweight hard-shelled carry on that abides by most us carriers rules for carry on. It is a glossy black with matte reinforced front edges. The adjustable handle can shift between two varying heights and there is also one handle at the top if you would like to lift and carry it. The case does have two zipper closures for adjusting of the bags width, the expanding zipper gives about another inch of width. The inside has an enclosed zippered compartment that runs the length of the bag that can contain breakables or things you do not want moving around easily. There are two pocket for shoes and two other zipper compartments for miscellaneous items. The inside has the typical x elastic holder to keep your hanging clothes confined. There is also another zippered compartment on this side that would lie on top of the x when the case is closed. The four wheels each move independently and flow smoothly over carpet and hard surfaces which makes running through the airport from gate to gate that much easier. The only drawback that I can find is that there are no true distinguishing features that separate it out from the other of hundred carry on bags, the swiss gear emblem is a discreet small silver at the front. If if ever needs to be checked I would recommend putting something on it to make it stand out.

> 24 hourI have a lot of hard case like this, and this one is really nice. For the most part, it is good enough for my need. This case closes with a zipper only because it does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, I will have a latch as a backup method to keep my case closed. I may find myself in a predicament when I need to check my broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, I have luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep my case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. I bought this 20 inches version because I have lots of big one. It is big enough to fill up with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put me right at the airline weight limits. The case is very light, but I will only fill it up about 80% to 90% avoid paying the excess weight fees. So, all my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside. My initial inclination was not to buy something cheap because I dont want it to break on the first trip, or having stuck wheels or finicky handles. This one should last for me.

> 24 hourSuch a classic looking carry-on piece. Really quite roomy, offers great space and for a few nights/days of travelling. Just the right size for carrying-on to an airplane. Its really easy to maneuver with, lightweight and looks SO COOL. Looks the glossy black coloring - really sharp.

> 24 hourI love the hard sided suitcase and I was the last in the family to get my own carry on. This is our 4th carry-on so it’s easy for me to compare features. This one is almost perfect in size, design, and various compartments. The only thing it is missing, in my opinion, is a built-in TSA lock. Otherwise, it’s expandable, plenty of interior pockets, and easy to maneuver.

> 24 hourI happened to come across this Swissgear 20 inch carry on the week before we were going on vacation. My 8 year old son didn’t have a suitcase and I was planning on just using some big duffel bags prior getting to this.
