I only have shoulder length hair but it is thick and this clip holds all of it up nicely. The clips are easy to use and they are are tight but not too tight. These claw clips are plastic, but durable. Ive now been using them almost daily for at least a month or so, and they havent broken. I have a lot of long but fine hair, and they hold my hair well, and I dont have to readjust the clip very often. These clips have been a great purchase :)
