the handle is plastic, and very very easy to break. After about a minute of use, one of the handle broke and wont open anymore.

The fiberglass brush worked as expected but the nylon brush was a happy surprise with how well it performed!

I didn’t know these scratch, sanding, cleanup pens existed. Wow was I missing out. They get into tiny spaces and are great for prepping something to solder, for sanding a tiny spot to paint, or taking a little tarnish off items.

I bought these brushes to clean crevices and tight spaces where a regular brush wont fit. The brass and steel bristles are very weak. They are virtually worthless for cleaning. I havent tried the nylon ones.

It is surprisingly difficult to find fiberglass scratch brushes for electronics. I have been using this for a week or so and the fiberglass cleans traces well and I find myself using the nylon and brass more than I expected. The nylon is good for cleaning solder joints where you need something firmer to get old flux off or baked on crud. This set came with replacement brushes, I have no idea if the bodies will last that long. As mentioned in other reviews the bodies are a little on the cheap side. For the price it wouldnt be painful if I had to buy a new set every year. It would be nice if someone would make a really nice sturdy set, something you would keep for a lifetime. One of my friends who does electronic repair has a 3/4 fiberglass scratch brush and he said it was really expensive. I couldnt find one so this will do.

I am an artist and NEW to the scratchboard scene. After working on this for about a year now I have found that if you have the right tools, it will really make a difference in your art.

This product was not capable of doing gradual whiteout or whiteout period and that is what it needs to do

Product does come with two metal plus one plastic bristle brush pens and replacements. The product is cheaply made so taking the existing brush to put a replacement literally destroys the pen itself so it is pretty much impossible to use that replacement with the existing pen. The brushes are also very weak and flimsy so they dont offer much brushing. I gave it three stars because the metal brushes are more useful but not much.

No instructions. Tips seem hard to change, and unsure as no instructions.

There are visual stress marks on the top of the pen where the cap attaches to the pen. THe cap constantly pops off alowing the brush to recract back into the pen. These are to cheap to be practical.
