This instrument works well to sort out coax cables in the house.

As an installer, i hat to chase wires but with this system it makes it sooooooo much easier that running up and down stairs and seeing if its the right wire……ITS A MUST HAVE AND BUY IF YOUR AN INSTALLER!!!

A good unit for identifying cables except that, per the instructions, you have to verify the absence of voltage on each cable before hooking this unit up. It does not have voltage detection and seemingly no voltage protection. If you accidentally connect to a sat receiver or power supply fed line there goes this unit.

Love it ,easy battery to change ,battery doesnt shake loose, I use it for work everyday. It saves me a lot of time chasing lines.

Works great as a cable tech for a big company it is helpful unlike the old equipment.

Easily Identified which cable went where. Very easy to use. Would definitely suggest to a friend or just lend mine.

Easy and accurate

Its easy to forget the test pieces but thats a personal problem. Good tool for cable work though. Fyi it wont tone thru a splitter but thats normal anyway
