8Bitdo Sn30 2.4G Wireless Gamepad for Original SNES/SFC (Transparent Edition)

I bought two of these 2.4ghz controllers to use with my Analogue Super Nt because reviews reported less lag than Bluetooth connections. I already have the original 8Bitdo Bluetooth controllers they released specifically for the Super Nt. Unfortunately it didn’t appear that the 2.4ghz version had less lag than my Bluetooth controllers, so I returned them. It doesn’t mean that these are bad controllers, and that they do indeed have less lag, it’s just that I couldn’t tell the difference and decided to stick with what I already have.

I love this thing! Pairs well, no noticeable lag, feels great -5 stars.

Great range and battery life. If there is any lag I am not noticing it for my games but I am playing on a CRT so it might feel like you have more if you are playing on an LCD.

Decided to dedicate some time to beating A Link to the Past without a guide (wish me luck). Purchased this controller as a convenience and it hasnt worked yet. Fully charged, sitting 4 feet from console, it will randomly disconnect OR completely change the orientation of the button combinations. (A will not work, but pressing B will function as A). Complete waste of money, but excellent build-quality controller...

Great choice for your SNES. Feels just as good as wired controllers.

The D pad feels original, I have no issues playing TMNT and Sun Set Riders. Face buttons are springy, not mushy like some after market controller. My only gripe is the start and select button placement. I’m using a SNES controller, but the start and select are set up like NES. It some getting used to, but I’d buy another and pick up a NES specific model while I’m at it.

Would recommend it for anyone that wants a wireless remote for the SNES.

I picked a pair of these up to use with my SupaBoy when it’s hooked up to the TV. They work great! The feel of the buttons reminds me of the Super Nintendo I played on for years. Other controllers I have used don’t have that same feel to them (this includes the ones on the SupaBoys itself). We are having a blast playing the classics . Well, except for my son not being as much of a fan facing dad in Mortal Kombat II. Oh well, he can practice and get better. I think the kids nowadays refer to that as “Git Gud Son.”
