Crystal Gems are very light weight and does not weight the item down. I used it to accent a backdrop and for centerpieces. I love that I am able to make it the length I need by added or removing gems using the wire rings that attach each gem. The wire rings are the biggest highlight for me. I am able to get the most out of this item because I can adjust it according to what I need without cutting it.

For the amount you get, this is a good deal. Yes, they are lightweight and that means you can pile a ton of them on at a reasonable cost and weight. If theyre hanging somewhere people wont know how light they are, theyll just see the sparkle. And they are sparkly in most lighting situations. In direct bright sunlight they wont look as good but with low light they will look amazing.
