i finally translated the title from ancient english using a universal translator... i think you guys should know before you just buy this book

When viewed from the stand point of the author the endeavor is placed as his only option for what he sees as over population and poverty. Removing all emotional humanity from his writing and instead using only logic he misses the most important parts. First that not eating one another is in fact part of our humanity and secondly people taste just awful.

Good little satire, and a nice piece for any library.

Dark dark satire, as people start to use his obvious disdain in all things English against them. Still, his writing of this short article cannot be ignored, as the Irish suffered terribly under the English. I bought this to understand something I always knew. I just wanted it in writing. Its a good piece of work. Sadly weaponized often in politics

I love this book! Its one of my favorites! However, if youre not used to the vocabulary in it, or your understanding of the turmoil that was going on in this period of history is weak, you might not get the full effect or humor. Its still a worth-while read. Go for it!

Classic, perfect and short. My father gave me this book when I was 12 and it warped my writing forever, much to my delight and pleasure. Besides all that, its a great read.

Insightful, witty, and clever. Being a new parent and wholly deprived of sleep, I must admit he makes some excellent points...

I received a photocopy of this work in English Literature; this bound copy is far better. I laughed again as I read it.
