A Treasury of Curious George: 6 Stories in 1!

We are big fans of Curious George at our house! I love these treasury books that give you so many wonderful stories all in one. We have read this treasury (and many others) over and over again - they never get old. They are also great books for beginning readers to read once they can master other books like Biscuit or other I can read level 1 or pre-readers. One thing that I did with my children when they started reading these was alternate. Depending on how confident they are, you can start with alternating sentences and then alternating pages. Another thing that helped my son was tapping my hand when he didnt know a word...then he would continue on after I would read only that word. This helped because he could get pretty frustrated and angry sometimes. After implementing the tap, reading no longer became a chore or something that made you feel bad because you didnt know some of the words. After that, we were just able to enjoy the stories together knowing we might not know every word, and that is okay because sometimes we need a little help. The tap helped because he didnt have to keep saying I dont know this!!!! We found that a really easy solution to solve that issue. But back to Curious George...really fun stories for kids and adults alike! And purchasing the treasury books are a cost-effective way to add a ton of books (8 in this one!) to your home library. Highly recommend!

Beautiful thick hardcover book!

We love it when our granddaughter bring us this book and asks us to pick out a story. She often picks the story she wants to hear and always laughs at the silly things Curious George does.

Great book. Got as a gift for my oldest child, but now that he has outgrown it my second one has picked it up as her favorite now too. Ive been reading this book to my kids for six years now..and still going. They just love it.

My son enjoyed reading the first curious George story, when George met the man with the yellow hat for the first time.

Very cute book, and nicely bound. My daughter owns an older binding of the book, and we got the new version to give as a gift. The stories are some of her favorites.

My son loves Curious George! It is nice to have several stories in one book as we travel often. It also means that we can read more stories together without getting up.

This is a nice hard cover book, with thick pages. The illustrations are definitely in the style of the originals but it isnt the original books. The stories seem a little bit more rushed and abrupt than the original books, and I think thats how they have lost some of their charm.

Loved by my Granddaughter.
