A1 FFCs - Flex Ribbon Extension Cable for Raspberry Pi Camera - Black 1m/3.28ft Long

I needed a longer flex cable to mount my Pi Camera on my 3D printer and this cable is more than long enough for this type of application.

Was trying to be careful with it but still managed to bend the cabled a little too much and i seemed to break it. It no longer works. It is very thin, I just did not realize how fragile it was.

I needed a bunch of long cables to tether cameras to Raspberry Pis for 3D printer monitoring. I tend to have a fair distance between the Pi and the cam, so these longer cables work well for that. The price is reasonable and the black cables aesthetically match the setup. No complaints save that the package is not really reusable so I have all the extras that I havent used yet refusing to be neatly stored away.

Defective right out the package. Glitchy. So they replaced it and same thing. Bought a better cable and no issues. This product is junk. Two times, two strikes, wont get a third!

Shorted out on day two :/ I have another cable which has suffered way more abuse and yet remains intact.

I bought this based on the need for a Pi cam and a black cable. What you get is a white cable. Completely misleading! I wont buy from this vendor again.

Worked as advert(very nice quality).

Ribbon cable. Seems quality product. Like it was wound inside a slice of PVC pipe to keep it coiled and protected.

Cable came superbly packaged. At first, I thought I had received a white one but then realized that it was wrapped inside a piece of PVC pipe. Superb protection especially for a fragile harness like this.

So far so good. One week. Its out a window and working fine. I have read/heard that these cameras are very sensitive to static electricity. I would recommend being careful if you have that in your environment. I dont think these ribbon cables are very secure so Id recommend glue or tape to prevent it from getting partially pulled out if you accidentally yank on it. I think this might be a bigger problem for longer cables like this.
