Part fit perfectly on my 2002 Glastron with a 3.0l Mercruiser 4 cylinder engine. Opens at 160 degrees. Holds engine temp at about 155 consistently (Fresh water use).

You need this part if you are changing the thermostat for a mercruiser v6

Good OEM alternative. Fits my 1990 Alpha 350 Mag Mercruiser. If youre changing the thermostat, you should change this part while you have the housing open. Dont forget the gasket kit too!
