One star is for the fact that it turns on, another star for the fact that this product may be fine for some people. I’m pretty picky when it comes to lighting and I stepped out on a limb to try LED again for the second time. These bulbs flicker so expect to see flashy trailing when your gaze pans over them. I appreciate a true tungsten 2700k and these just run green. If you look at the photo you can see that there is variation of color from bulb to bulb. The mechanism in the LED is designed in a way where only half the bulb glows “warm” so each bulb will land a different direction giving off inconsistent color. These might be just fine for some, but not for all. Definitely returning.

Very pleased with these! I previously used regular G40 bulbs but since these are on a timer to go on every night, I find I replace them often, and then I found these come in an LED option. As the other reviews say, they are very close to regular bulbs in terms of color and that was my biggest concern. In this photo, there are only about 10 of these LED bulbs and the rest are regular, and it’s hard to tell which is which! Very pleased so far and I plan to reorder these as needed.

I can tell the difference between these and the normal light but only if i look hard. These are high quality and i like that they are plastic since i use them outside. Would recommend.

These perfectly replaced some incandescent bulbs. The color is just a smidge brighter but still a nice warm gold. Much less electricity use for these too. Packed well in foam, and I saved the old bulbs in that box, which is still pretty compact. Fair price and fast shipping. I put 4 stars for longevity as that is an unknown so far

Wanted a night lite, these bulbs are perfect with just enough light, but nothing to shock the eyes.

I have four strings of clear string lights. Thats a lot of electricity at 5 watts each = 500 watts every time I turned them on. Replaced them with these LED versions thats .6 watts = 60 watts. I can leave them on for long periods no sweat. I can live with that.

I have an outdoor string of lights that run along a fence with these kinds of lights. It is difficult to find replacement bulbs at a reasonable price when they inevitably go out. Candidly, before I found these on Amazon, I would buy a whole new set of wired lights and just use the bulbs and toss the wire. This was a much less expensive option than that and the product is very good. No problems at all. At the same time I bought some colored ones too ....to modify the fence lights for the holiday season. I would have given five stars, but one bulb was shattered. Likely more due to the shipping and handling. The box is well secured....but one can expect a minor problem with a shipment of light bulbs..for sure. I would definitely buy again.
