Great quality. Yes a little smaller than anticipated. Yes pockets tight on sides but actually ok to fit a normal/slimmer water bottle and holds it in--doesnt fall out like her old backpack with mesh sides that stretched too much.

I got this bookbag for my daughter for her first day of school. Bright, beautiful bookbag. She absolutely loves it.

This backpack has held up very well for this school year. Easy to keep clean and absolutely no wear shown so far (about 6 months into school year)

Super durable but also lightweight. Doesn’t stain easy either which is a huge plus for a mom of a kindergartner!

My daughter has only used it one time so far. But its sturdy and looks really nice. We will see how it stands up!

Since we buy backpacks for our 3 kids once a year, Ive experienced some that were good and others that just werent. The quality of this backpack stands out from the stitching, fabrics as well as the zipper. This backpack has a fabric piece that rests over the zipper - normally I hate this design because that extra lip gets caught in zipper. Because of the design of this backpack the zipper does not get stuck. Also, the inside pockets and material is better than most.

I love the vibrant colors! Its perfect! It has 2 inside pockets!

For the price of this backpack, I was not expecting to get very good quality. But I am very impressed with this backpacks construction, the stitching is great and has held up for the entire school year and still looks brand new. The backpack is a tad bit big for a child in kindergarten or maybe 1st grade but they can grow into this. The interior section is big and can carry a handful of books, and a lunch bag as well a 18oz Nalgene bottle. The only issue I have seen with this bag is the side pockets are not capable of holding a large water bottle. We were never able to get her water bottle to fit so we had to stored it inside the backpack which is fine. My daughters bag is in the Galaxy color scheme which is pretty cool to look at and she really enjoys it. If I were looking to purchase another backpack for one of my kids, I would definitely look at buying another Abshoo backpack because of the overall quality I saw in this current backpack, the price point is similar to other major brands of this style bag and I think the colors are great compared to those boring base colors I had when I was in grade and middle school.

This really is a great backpack. Looks great and is durable. My little one loves it. There is a slight downside, but not an issue for us. My kiddo is in early grade school, so the side pocket that holds a water bottle barely (snuggly) fits a kids water bottle. So for a larger kiddo with a larger water bottle, this might not work. The water bottle side pocket has no stretch or elastic. So, either it fits or it doesnt - there is no give.

Cute backpack for my second grader. Feels pretty durable and can easily be wiped clean. Only downfalls are the zippers are a little tough for her and the side pocket and front pocket are very small with no give.
