Helpful for water in the basement

This is okay, but be aware that while the box is the box foe the medium weight pig product. this is the LIGHTWEIGHT mat, NOT medium weight. You do get twice the length of the medium. so its effectively the same amount of absorbent power, so if you want medium weight, you need to search for MAT2001. Its good stuff regardless. A must for any shop.

Been using these for years , they work well for working on oily equipment, protects the bench and great for putting under oil filter canisters and under oil burners when servicing residential oil furnaces

Worth the extra money for the quality. Hold together well even totally full. I use them for automotive fluids as well as the chemicals I use to make spray foam at work (not the kindest substances) and can be great time savers for spills.

If i were to have one con it would be that liquids Absorb through the matt. The ones we have at work have a coating on the bottom to not allow liquid through. I bought to run around my car to keep the garage floor dry doing a Rinseless wash.

Amazing soaking up ANY liquid. Have used PIGs on so many different applications. Literally if you were to put one on your head it would eventually absorb you! They are that good. I cant recommend anything on Amazon more than these.

These mats are absorbent. Just dont expect them to absorb all the water of a torrential downpour without replacing them with fresh mats.
