I rescued a golden retriever that was badly matted. Certain breeds like golden cant be shaved down easily or safely so, for me at least this has been a good way to spray a mist over the body with a little extra in problem areas (tail, sanitary area, back of the ears, neck, fronts of legs) and the gently comb through. Shes older I dont want to make her crazy with brushing I just want her comfortable and dont want a total shave down because the knots are too close to the skin, and she would struggle maintaining body temperature. So this has proven to provide some relief and gradually make her more comfortable. Does she it? not really. No dogs typically like being sprayed unexpectedly (or expectedly) but its easy to spread easily, light enough to not saturate and just pull knots to one area) and had just been a help.

This is such an amazing product! I’ve always used this on all of my horses manes and tails and it makes brushing them out so much easier ! Even for my mare who has super coarse tail hair. Leaves her hair soft and detangled. And the smell is nice , not overpowering at all .

I have read a lot of reviews on what I could use to tame down and smooth out my dogs nappy fur on her hocks. I have a long haired German Shepherd that use to have silky flowy hair until I spayed her. The drop in hotomones equals not so lustrous locks. Her hair became more dry. Her tail and hocks have hair that of you look at a single stand you can see a thousand little kinks in it. It became hard to brush threw and looked raggedy. This product made my brush just glide through with ease. I saturated her hair pretty good and the product dries fairly fast. It smells good. It is not greasy and a little goes a long way. After the product was completely dry her raggedy hair was extremely soft and I could run my fingers through it. It was also shinier. I will definitely being buying this again.

We just love this product. We have long hair that gets tangled all the time and my mom whos elderly uses tons of hairspray, lol, this helps me get her hair untangled before washing it. I just love it. Leaves our hair shiny and smooth.

Ive been trying to get a smooth coat and this product is fabulous. Im typically a Chris Christensen product fan and received a sample from a friend. Show Sheen is great for smoothing coat and adding glow. Love using behind the ears for tangling. Good stuff. Smells amazing too

Works for my German Spitz. I spray till hes good and damp, rub it in a bit then brush him down. He dries soft and smells nice. This will last about 2-3 days but he will be safe from undercoat matts for even longer.

Purchased this product for my Chocolate Lab!!! His coat is shiny soft and smells great! Came in great condition and very happy with the results!

This is the best detangler I have ever tried. I have a Labradoodle and her hair was always matted, I got this because of the reviews and let me tell you, if you let the hair soaking for a second on the product it will get it. It was incredible. She was super matted and I was able to do her whole body in one night and she went to the grooming the next day and they didn’t shave her down. Buy it! Now I took the advice of other reviews and did it on my patio because it will get your floors super slippery.
