AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

These fans (together with an S series that I joined in series) do a great job of cooling my equipment enclosure. I had to reverse the fans for my installation which was a little clumsy but eventually figured it out. High quality fans and great controller that gives you several options.

First of all this is exactly what I needed for my media closet. Solves all of my heat issues very nicely. Reason for the 4 stars is that not much thought was put into total discrete installation. The power cord and the thermistor exits throught the rear of the control unit so if I wanted to flush mount the controll unit in drywall, i need to have another hole in my drywall so the power cord and thermistor can be connected. From a visual appearance this was not what I wanted. I would have preferred all connections done behind the wall period with only the tip of the thermistor exposed. Instead I have a cord and plug running down the wall to a power strip. I guess if you install this on the outside of a cabinet or closet it would be fine but i prefer everything inside my media closet. I am buying a deep wall mounted media box like the one i have behind my tv just to plug this in with no cords visible. A lot of extra work but I still like the product.

I think it does a great job. Easy to install. Not at all loud like I have read. Good investment for a piece of mind...I dont want my made in China cable box burning down my house.

I have 4 electronic boxes in an entertainment case. It always felt quite hot, as there was no ventilation or circulating air. With 2 xboxs, a DVR, and a 15 watt home theater box, there was a lot of heat being generated. After I added this box, the included temp gauge (one of the best parts) said that the boxes were over 110 degrees F. The control box started the fans, and now continuously regulates the temperature to under 85 degrees (the level I have it set). Unless everything in the room is off and I am sitting right next to the entertainment center, the fans are inaudible. Highly recommended.

I have made my towel cabinet into a entailment area and have put this van in the cabinet door. This a good system. It keeps my router & modem cooler. It Gages the temperature in the unit and it is very quiet. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent templates for cutouts. control module works great, display is clear and bright. temperature as measured at probe is right on as compared to my infrared thermometer.

very nice unit. I have this in my theater room and it runs the cooling for my equipment room, which gets very hot. This unit comes on and keeps my equipment cool. Is also very quite, and that very important running in a theater room like mine.
