> 3 dayI bought this to install in my coat closet that I turned into a small network closet. I needed to blow out the hot air sitting above the door frame created by my network switch. I reversed the fans on the plate, cut the drywall, drilled a stud, popped the power wire down the waterfall plate and mounted the fan. I installed a vent plate on the other side of the wall that allowed the hot air to be pushed out by this dual fan. It works very well and I have not had a problem with the controller either. I have mine set to 81 and the fans dont kick on past the low setting very often when the weather isnt too hot. I would say its not noisy compared to the switch I have running in the closet right now. I cant tell when it turns on, thats a good thing.

> 3 dayAn excellent little enhancement to my setup. I would love to see a larger trim ring for this unit. I was concerned with my specific usage, that of recessing it into a sheetrock wall. It turns out it can be accomplished but be careful with tolerances. You could miscut and blow through your normal screw holes. I ended up needing to place a piece of wood behind the wall and secure it with a couple of sheetrock screws, then secure my unit to that wood. I expected as much so no harm on my end. A bit of paint, and all is well.

> 3 daySolid quality product, brushed black metal look, blends right in. I used it to provide ventilation for my theater equipment and framed it right into the wall. Works great, and the temperature probe with the auto on function is essential for a guy like me that has the theater running by my kids who MAY forget to turn on a manual vent system. Only improvement recommendation would be a button to turn off the backlighting.

> 3 dayExcellent product for the price. Im impressed with this control unit. It does include two fans with an impressively high quality mounting bracket if anyone was confused, as I was, with what is included with this package. The controller is simple to use and has a nice external temperature probe. I think the probe might be off a bit on air temp, but since you can set the cooling to whatever youd like that doesnt make much of a difference. The only complaint I had is that these fans, while quiet, dont move much air on high. They seem to be very low RPM fans, which is great if youre looking for something quiet, but not so great if you need to move lots of air. The fans are completely unmarked, so Im not sure of their full specification. Given that the controller can fully control fan speed, it would have been nice to get fans that had a bit more of a range. Still, I have no problem recommending this overall very high quality kit. I used them in a small home server rack to replace a set of non-controllable fans.

> 3 dayI have this and a standalone dual unit in the same cabinet with an xbox and playstation. Keeps everything cool, turns on fast and moves a ton of air! They can be pricey compared to companies like cooler guys, but the quality is great!
