So nice set of screws, minus the weakish materials as they are painted black so any type of scratch shows metal really fast and they definitely are not that strong to hold up against a simple hand screw driver let alone a powered driver. Plus what is with the nylon grommet? I thought that was a metal washer before, but that just simply prevents inherent grounding or bonding from the screw, I have to remove paint anyway why not send over a metal washer? Overall not bad though, made due with them on the devices that had ground terminals in the back.

The washers can fall off so thats a little annoying, but overall good rack screws. They dont seem to strip out if you accidentally tighten them a little too much.

So after dropping a sizable chunk of change on a new rack, after exhausting the local options for secondhand, along with a new managed PDU I wasnt keen to spend a ton on mounting hardware. The clean, snappy packaging caught my eye and to my surprise the price was about the same as the no-name unbranded rack screws so I promptly pulled the trigger. I can safely say that if youre in the market for 10/32 rack screws you probably arent gonna do any better, especially for the cost, than these from AC Inifinty. Sadly, I was in the market for M5 or M6 w/racknuts for my MDF and accidentally ordered 10/32 while in a hurry one morning. I cannot however, fault the hardware here in any way. I genuinely wish I had something that took 10/32 screws, because upon inspection these are the product of careful thought and attention to detail. The semi-matte, satin finish is consistent throughout, the washers are all evenly sized, no plastic slag or variation, visual inspect of the screws themselves shows very clean, well machined threading with the guide tips to ease awkward install positions. And the little cylinder/tub container is likely to last as a misc rack hardware tin that sits inside the rack to hold the loose ends of various activity in the rack. All around, something as mundane as rack mounting hardware can apparently be more polished and premium in both presentation and execution than I knew. Well done. Now I just need an A/V rack or whatever variety of mounting frame(s) make use of these 10/32 screws...

I didn’t think there would be a wide range of quality in something as simple as a rack screw. I was wrong. Not only did the length of the unthreaded tips make them easier to seat, the heads, threads, and washers themselves were a cut above anything I’ve used in the past. And I’ve been involved in professional audio for more than twenty years. They were a tad more expensive than the competition, but I’m glad I took a chance on them. They are worth it. And the container is much better than the ziplock bags from other companies. Great product, well packaged.

This is by far the best screws for any 10-32 rack mount! Comes in a nifty little container as well, which adds to the aesthetic on my desk.

Ive been using the same set of music-store screws in my synth & efx racks since the mid-1990s, and every time its been a pain to swap out gear because of those bloody screws! They never want to start, they get cross-threaded, you end up boogering up the heads, and sometimes its almost enough to put you on blood pressure pills. I purchased these because the starter nub looked like a good idea, and boy is it! This is the first time I can recall where I didnt have to take a break mid-assembly because of frustration. These screw just go right-in like magic. These are my new favorites! And having a storage case so you can find them is a nice touch. Somebody was thinking when they made these!

The only down side is that you have to use a #1 or #2 bit to drive them. It would be best to have a #3 Phillips capable driver with an impact gun

Its just a rack screw, but its way more than that. The quality in this screw is obvious from the first time you open the packaging. And speaking of the packaging, the plastic jar is amazingly simple and effective at storing and protecting the screws. It even looks cool all blacked-out. The best thing about the screw is the dog point, which allows easy location of the screw in the rail before you tighten it. The plastic washer is very protective of the equipment you secure, and they do not move around or squish when you tighten the screw. Overall an excellent product with great attention to details.

I was so happy with the first batch I purchased I decided to pay the biggest compliment I could: I purchased a second set. I’m racking thousands of dollars worth of Audio gear and I am very happy.

OK - so these are just rack screws - but the quality of the hardware and packaging encouraged me to write a review. These screws come with a captive nylon washer in a heavy re-closable plastic bag, inside a black plastic jar...with a foam disc in the bottom to keep things from rattling around. These guys take their screws seriously. Good finish, solid design with tapered end to allow easy alignment and starting while juggling a shelf or piece of gear. If you need rack screws, look no further.
