> 3 dayThis duct coupler works perfectly! It fits perfectly creating an air tight seal and noticeably reduces noise. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayI used a couple of these to connect a high-CFM duct fan into 8 metal ducting. Years ago I had installed a pop-up vent behind our kitchen center-island cooktop, but I never got around to installing a fan to vent it outside. In the process of finishing our basement, I decided I should probably get that done before installing drywall and buttoning up the ceiling below the main-floor kitchen. I used standard 8 HAVC ducting to route the vent, and purchased a Vortex VTX800 duct fan here on Amazon, and then had to find a way to connect the fan into the ducting without transmitting vibration from the fan into the ducting. Standard 8 rubber couplers are not 8, as they are made for connecting to PVC and similar pipe with an outside diameter larger than 8. These AC Infinity couplers, however, are exactly 8 inside diameter, and while theyre a little shorter than I would have preferred, they worked perfectly. Theyre a little costly for the material you get, but I dont know that theres anything else this size out there, so this was a great find. Thank you Amazon!

Greater than one weekQuick 2 minutes install that eliminated the duct tape connector I had made. Airtight seal to connect ducting/filtration systems. Such a small yet important piece of your grow. Has a ridge inside to stop from sliding too far and included two clamps to tighten it down.

> 3 daySome people complain about how it fits but they’re just ignorant. It’s designed to bridge the size difference so when you see it reducing on one end you know it’s working. Eliminates vibration noise and seals it up tight.

> 3 dayDisclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself. Awhile back, I got an AC Infinity Air Filtration Pro CLOUDLINE 4 through the Vine program. When we set it up, almost everything about it was perfect. Except for one thing. When its time to connect the activated carbon filter to the air pump and the electronic controller, they provided you with...tape. Bear in mind, this is a $190.00 retail system and they included tape to attach things. Not even really duct tape, just standard tape. So when I discovered this, I begrudgingly put in for it. The grommet comes in a plastic bag. Its about 3-4 inches long with two pipe clamps on it that can be tightened by a Phillips head screw (Philips? I can never remember). To install, you remove the tape that previously anchored the carbon filter (poorly) to the air filtration unit. You then gently separate the carbon filter from the air filtration unit and slide this unit in-between. Then, you gently push the air filtration unit into the grommet and tighten the pipe clamp and repeat the same action on the other side for the carbon filter unit. The unit is made out of fairly rigid plastic aside from the flanges at the end so make sure everything is even as it doesnt have much bend to it. Then, revel in your HVAC prowess. Truth be told, this should have been in the box to start. Sure, its $13 but it should have been in the nearly $200 unit that I got before, not tape. So would I recommend getting it? Yeah, if you got the air filtration assembly previously and it had tape. But I would HIGHLY encourage AC Infinity to put this in the kits from the get-go. This is just nickel and dime-ing people at this point. I paid nearly $200 before, why should I pay an extra $13 for a part that should have been in there in the first place?

Greater than one weekI am impressed that AC Infinity takes such a holistic approach to their products. If you are working on building a grow tent system, you can do it all with AC Infinity products, including tents, fans, lights, ducting and other hardware. We recently set up another tent and wanted to attach the outgoing fan to an activated charcoal exhaust filter. The option at the time was to just tape the filter to the fan with duct tape. That was NOT a great solution. It kept falling apart while I was trying to hang it in the tent. This clamp changed all that - it was easy to connect and holds the two parts together solidly, as if it were one unit. It is priced competitively with other brand couplers and is well made - like every other AC Infinity product Ive ever used.

> 3 dayHave this on one of my systems and not the other one and I can honestly tell a bit of a difference. I will be getting one for the other system once I’m able to be get to it in the tent. It eliminates the need need for a small portion of ducting and helps the streamline everything and makes for a nicer appearance. It’s very sturdy and very well made. Come with the necessary 2 clamps. You just need a screwdriver for the screws to tighten the clamps down.

> 3 dayIts a well thought out piece for the ac infinity inline unit. Although not necessary, it adds a clean look to the grow tent.
