I installed this 1tb PCIe Gen 4 NVMe in an external case and connected it via USB 4 to my MacBook Pro 16 M1Max. I then formatted it as a case sensitive encrypted APFS drive using disk utility. It shows that I have 1.02 TB of space available. This is pretty good considering the overheads of encryption.

Cloned my existing drive and then popped this into my laptop with ease. Fit like a glove and have been running with no issues. Speed feels right in my Msi stealth 66.

If you are looking for more storage are a speed improvement, this might be the SSD for you.

It doesn’t work without updated drivers, can’t do anything with it.

Worked flawlessly on install and sported speeds between 4700MBs-5300MBs. Been running this around 2 weeks on a gaming system and was even able to play some Star Citizen on it with no issues. Star citizen requires some serious storage power to play, so this was a great testing point. Also tested some other basic gaming such as MW2, No Mans Sky, and Cyberpunk. No issues with anything, and still running.

I mounted the solid state drive into a docking station that I will use with my Dell laptop computer. This memory, which is 1 TB in size, is the ideal size to transfer and save your work files as a backup copy. I mounted the solid-state drive into the bottom of the docking station where it has an access cover. After inserting the drive I installed a small mounting screw to hold it down. I then put a strip of thermal tape over the top of it to help transfer the heat from the solid-state drive to the aluminum docking station.

Got it for my ps5. Its good, its cheap, and heck ps5 says its even running 500MBS faster then advertised at 5500MBS, so I got 0 complaints!

Really easy to install and working as intended after 3 weeks. PS5 recognized it with issues and game transfers between internal and this SSD are really fast.
