Its very cute, although a little bigger than my dwarf hamster needs but she uses it. She gets in there and rolls around after we give a her a washcloth bath. She doesnt poop in it like some people say but we introduced this her after having her for 18 mos so she already had her poop spot prior to this gadget. The little cat ears are cute. Its easy to clean although I have to take it out of the top of the cage because its too big to go through the gate.

We chose clear so that we could see through it better. Nova the hamster immediately knew what it was and how to use it. She was only about 3 months old then and had no problem climbing inside, shes now 2 years old and a Big Ole girl and still fits nicely. Weve never had a problem with her biting or chewing on it, but she loves to climb all over the top of it and it does great supporting her big booty without tipping or moving around. The top half does come off for super easy cleaning.

Lets start with this, my hamster is not very smart… She loves this though! I was trying to potty train her after moving her to a new cage. Well, she LOVES to sleep in it. Its full of bedding and she couldnt be happier! Comes with a little scooper to clean out the litter! I will post a photo to share my giggles!

Good size. I ordered the large. My female Syrian hamster fits well enough in it with room to spare. Shes about 5 inches long. Good purchase.

This is good dimensions for a hamster. Previously we used a bowl, but this helps control the mess a little bit. It does have a larger footprint, though. We use reptile sand, which is supposed to be the lowest dust option and safer for their tiny lungs. Our hamsters roll around in it to give themselves a bath, then they use it as a litter box LOL. Weve tried having two bowls, hoping they would use one as a bath and the other as a litter box, to no avail. Oh well, we just scoop it out like we would a kitty litter box.
