Used lights in my Campervan Build. They are not bright nor are they able to be put on a dimmer.

These fit perfectly in the holes in by 2000 Beneteau. I only had to pull the old fixtures, disconnect the terminals, crimp new terminals on these fixtures and pop them in. They were a snug fit, but went in just fine. As has been noted elsewhere, the spring clips are fairly light, but seem perfectly adequate for the task. Its a bit of a change in appearance as these are more flush then the old glass dome/chrome ring, but once theyre in place no one will notice. And the old ones were starting to look pretty tired anyway. Over the years, Id replaced the halogen bulbs in the old fixtures with a couple of different generations of led bulbs - none of which ever were completely bright enough to suit me. I was looking at doing another round of replacements - but the bulbs are around $16 each. These fixtures were half the price and 2x as bright! The light color is excellent, and they are so bright that Ive paired them with the Acegoo dimmer since I wont want them at full power all the time. When considering dimmers, make sure you get one that works on just the + leg of the circuit - most 12v systems run a separate ground lead for the fixture that doesnt come back to the switch location. The Acegoo dimmer is one of the few that is designed like that.

October 2018: Love them so far. Nice warm color. not to cool, not to warm. No failures yet after 3 months. Installed in RV to replace all the 12v fluorescent lights. 3-4 of these LEDs are an adequate replacement for 2 12” fluorescent bulbs. Had to make my own “fixtures” to cover the fluorescent light fixture holes. July 2020 UPDATE: they have held up well to full time rv use. only one has started glitching out which isn’t bad out of the 26 that i installed.

Good colour lighting. Nice low power usage for rv. Getting more to outfit the whole bus. Was worried at first when they blinked occasionally, turned out it was time to replace batteries in the bus.

Bright, good value, elegant design, and small compact lightweight - great for van conversions. You never want flood lights in a van conversion. These are great! Take up little space and look great in the van. Replacing my under cabinet pancake ugly lights with these little beauties. By having them inset into the cabinet, flush mounted, I redirect the light like a soft mini spot / flood lamp downward rather than in your eyes 180 degrees. Much better. On the ceiling, these will also illuminate gently and downward, not sideways. The sideways light is irritating especially under kitchen counters. Get these nice lights. Good value.

We have 12 of these in our Promaster....very happy with the light and the temperature of the light. We paired these with a dual zone dimmer from Super Bright LEDs. They dim perfectly. It would be nice if they were a touch brighter though. We have them installed in our ceiling which is very well insulated. They do get hot...we measured almost 120F....but the air temp was 95.

They arrived a few days sooner than scheduled. Very easy to install. I placed them on a dimmer switch - they are very very bright on high setting, and adjust to a nice soft lumen on the low setting ( I have 9 installed in my camper van). I would definitely recommend these 12v lights.

I had these installed in my van super easy, Ive never done electrical before and it was so simple. Works great with a $12 dimmer also!

These lights are decent, but not very durable or high quality. Disappointed.

They dim. They look good. They fit the 5.25 inch cutout perfectly. Wiring was easy and all 4 work for me.
