> 24 hourThe charger plug does not charge without holding it in place 95% of the time. It makes it very difficult to use the keyboard with only one hand. I would NOT buy another Acer until this PROBLEM is fixed.

> 24 hourLove it so far and no issues to speak of. It’s just for personal use, not for gaming or work. M on it a few times a week for internet, photos, files etc. My only complaint is I can’t install our home printer or scanner because they aren’t a Microsoft product. You can change it out of S mode and install whatever you want but that will eliminate safety and security features. You can’t switch it back either.

> 24 hourI bought it to play The Sims 4 because my old laptop was too laggy. This one works great! I have a ton of expansion packs and it runs very smooth. Starts up fast and loads quickly. I’m super happy with it!

> 24 hourOrdered this laptop on Prime Day for my Uncle who had a super old laptop that wasnt performing well. The laptop he had was at least 8 years old, was super heavy (Toshiba Satellite), super slow to load and just wasnt performing as it should. My Uncle doesnt do a lot of processing on the laptop but uses it mostly for online browsing, bill pay etc. Hes not exactly computer savvy when it comes to a lot of things so I wanted to keep it as basic as possible.

> 24 hourDo not buy this laptop. Yes it works pretty good. But the hinges that allow you to open it are fragile. After only about a year and a half of use one broke. I fixed that one only to have the other hinge break. Its out of warranty, and the hinges are not replaceable. All you can do is tear the thing apart and glue the screws back in...which only lasts for so long. Eventually the hinges will not be repairable, the screen will be ruined...so Ive read...and this is a very very common occurrence with this model. If you Google it, youll see a lot of complaints about the hinges. So if you plan on buying a new laptop every year, then this is the one for you...otherwise avoid it.

> 24 hourThis is a great laptop. It was an emergency purchase to replace a Lenovo ThinkPad that quit without warning. While I originally thought the backlit keyboard was a gimmick, Ive come to appreciate it when I need to work in dim lighting. The laptop is a nice weight, combining full functionality with a compact profile. Hard to believe its a 15inch screen while still being thin and compact. The ports are thoughtfully configured, with a USB port on the right side as well as the left. While I miss having an optical drive, having 2 USB ports on the left side means I can use an external drive without adding weight to the laptop. It is blazing fast compared to my previous laptops, and offers good all-around performance whether I am surfing the web or working in a spreadsheet.
