This is a pretty good Acer laptop. I have used Acer laptop since 2016 and this model has just been purchased earlier this month. It runs very fast and boots up completely in less than 10 seconds. The i7 core 11th gen quad core CPU with 8 threads and 12 MB cache makes this laptop to handle multi-tasking easily. You can open up more than 20 web browsers without lagging. Thanks for the 16 GB RAM too. However, theres no much discount to buy this laptop now. But the value of the laptop is still lower than same specs Dell, Lenovo, and HP laptops. Its a decent deal on Amazon.

Got the i7 1165G7 w/ Iris Xe / 16 GB / 500 GB model. $850. I run Windows 10 Enterprise on it and do only web browsing, video-calling and watching videos, and other basic computing -- no games, no intensive applications. Its a decent laptop and basically what I was looking for, but I really would have liked to see a longer battery life.

I was bit disappointed when i first got, but after a few updates I find it pretty amazing. It does a very good job with AutoCAD and Prokon. Runs very smooth with light gaming.

All the latest technologies from intel in one unit. You will enjoy testing all the latest code in Windows 10/Ubuntu 21.04 dual boot system. Windows update will install the latest bios v1.08 and latest intel Xe drivers. Set admin bios password will allow disabling of secure boot for optimum dual boot with Linux. Also disable fast boot in bios and disable Hibernate in Windows.

Purchased this upper end Acer laptop in July 2021 for our son to use his freshman year in college. He took excellent care of it, using a padded sleeve to carry it, and used it gently, but on April 22, 2022 it simply was dead when he opened it for class in the morning. Perfect timing for it to die with his last week of classes and final exams coming up. 9 months worth of use for this is just terrible service life for the cost. This was our 2nd Acer laptop purchased over the past couple of years (the other ones mousepad failed in a year), but I will be avoiding Acer products from now on. Highly disappointed.

Bought two Acer Aspire laptops about a year ago. One works perfectly. The other died a month ago. I have tried to contact Acer support several times to no avail. No one responds. When finally someone seems to respond the call just drops. Will NOT recommend this computer or this company to anyone. This is NOT service.

I have only had this for a few weeks, but so far I love it.

Transferred from another ACER I loved and am so disappointed in this one because the speakers are so quiet! Can hardly hear any show or video. Not happy I have to get external speakers for a laptop just to watch a video.

My son got in a week time some issues, when pressing spacebar screen glidged ( see uploaded video) and a fully charged battery lasted maximum 5 hours.
