After owning an original 2013 Gateway 17.3 inch laptop w/Windows 7 ~ this took a big step for me. My Gateway has all the updates and still works perfectly. I ordered this for my girlfriend to get her off a tablet to save her eyes. I installed Webroot from Amazon Prime and Firefox. This unit does not have tons of power sucking apps already loaded so getting it cleaned up for her was quick and easy. Of course I ordered a wireless mouse to go along with it. If you DONT want your laptop to last for years then DONT order a mouse. Nice laptop for a bargain ! Dont forget the padded case from Amazon Basics.

Great computer at decent price. Operates as basic computer and is not touch screen. Purchased for daily use and not for gaming. Starts up quickly and so far no issues

This laptop is for sure one of the best laptop for everyday use, and works great for almost everyone. The design is chic and simple. Its very light weighted so easy to carry with you anywhere you want or even travel with. The sizing is perfect as it has 15.6 monitor so still pretty big size to be able to do any work with. For the price, its super powerful and works great even for some graphic and architectural design works and applications. Its slim which is exactly how I like.
