Keep your Network Security Key written down, as this computer not only forgets it weekly, but completely forgets it even has a wifi card to begin with. Youll pretty consistently have to disable and re-enable the wifi card through device manager just to make it work. And thats when it turns on. Most of the time, you have to hold the power button down for thirty seconds and re-hit it to clear the power, otherwise it wont turn on. Ive only had this thing for a few weeks, and I already cant wait to find what other neat surprises it has in store for me, thatll have me looking up how to fix it.

I like everything about this computer. I just do basic things with computers and this one is very fast at all of them and does them all very well. It is comfortable to use, it is easy to carry about to where I want to use it. I would recommend it.

This Acer laptop replaces my 11 yr old Acer laptop which still works but has slowed down in old age. Hope the new super fast Acer serves me as well. Love the 1080 screen and and getting results in a nano second. Hated that it came tied to Microsoft but found out that I could remove the S mode which I did. Not being of the younger generation it wasnt quite as simple to do as stated but got there eventually. All in all happy and satisfied with this under $400 purchase.

This Acer Aspire performs well for the most part. It responds quickly and runs smoothly. Basically, it does everything it claims without problems. It does run in Windows S mode, so if youre planning to use Google, this wont accommodate it. You cant download anything that isnt a Microsoft approved app. I primarily use it for word or excel and sometimes editing pictures, and it does great for that. The biggest problem for me is the battery life - or lack of battery life to be more accurate. Fully charged, I only get about 4 hrs before it needs to be plugged in. Even when its not in use - in sleep mode or turned off - the battery depletes faster than any laptop Ive owned. For example, the laptop was in sleep mode and in a day, the battery was dead. Turned completely off, its drained in a couple of days. Other than that, its not a bad machine for the money, but the battery life is a problem when I want to take it on the go and dont want to deal with recharging before I even get a chance to use it.

Do not waste your time with this. I thought I would look past the bad reviews of this product because it was affordable and I just need it for really simple Word docs. Well, day TWO of trying to use the computer and the mouse pad is not working at all. Looks like this has happened to multiple people. This was a terrible purchase, and I already threw away the box unfortunately. This was the worst purchase of my entire year.
