Editing initial review - worked great when it was new. Now that it is a couple months old it is frustrating. Every time there is a Microsoft update something else goes wrong. Now after the last update the screen freezes daily and I get a blue spinning circle and a black screen. I have to power off the computer and turn it back on to get it to work again. I do not use multiple apps or browser tabs at all, just very simple use yet it freezes constantly.

This laptop suits my needs perfectly. I can’t rate its worthiness as a gaming machine because don’t use it to play games mainly I don’t play games.

This laptop is sooo much better than i expected for $310. When i opened the box i was impressed. Windows S mode is great if youre not computer literate, but for someone like me who has played with computers for most of his life you can switch out of s mode. I will be upgradung the ram soon and installing another hdd.

This laptop is literally perfect! It’s just what I need to get my school work done! Awesome buy for the price!

Unfortunately, I have to write a bad review on this one. I have babied this laptop and while it was a decent for cheap laptop, I cant believe it just died on me after 14 months. I didnt get a warranty because the price was more than half of the laptop cost...again, inexpensive laptop. I expect slow, etc. but not death.

Used this laptop for a little over a month and the Touchpad died; totally inoperative. External mouse worked OK. Returned computer for a refund.

Works great. Love it. It can handle quite a bit for gaming

The USB ports died after about 3 months. Acer support is not good. On hold 5 hours on phone and gave up. Tried online and template hangs up on address validation. Its under warranty but I dont have an avenue to file a claim.

Computer came with no valid digital certificate or product key for Windows 10. Listing said Windows 10 in S mode. Called Acer, they said to call Microsoft they said call Acer. Called Amazon and they said I would have to purchase Windows 10 separately. Have never had to do that. Why would I purchase a computer with no operating system. Sent it back. Will go to a computer store to purchase a compute.

This laptop is perfect for what I needed.
