I purchased this for my new small business. I have a good work laptop (my prev real job I still do consulting) thats much more $, so I will give some solid comparisons for why this is an entry level vs a +$1k laptop of same size.

Update 2: Computer is now fried. It simply wont boot anymore.

Love this laptop. Its budget friendly, very lightweight, silver color with a sleek design. The keyboard and touchpad are very comfortable to use.

The expandability(RAM, SSD drive) of this unit is very convenient.

I would not buy! You cannot change many settings because Microsoft has locked the software so only programs sold by Microsoft can be used. Battery life is no where near the 7.5 hrs claimed. Touch pad went bad in the first 2 weeks of use. Crashes to blue screen at random for no reason. Charge port is very touchy. If you barely move your laptop it will quit charging, Cannot change boot order so you can run Linux or another hard drive or usb. Microsoft has made it so this laptop is useless if you want to use any other source except what you purchase from them. Do not reward Microsoft and purchase this product. We vote by our dollars and its bad for us to continue to let them force their programs on consumers!

Very comfortable

Bought this computer less than three months ago, the charging port is broken (diagnosis from acer support) but customer service is poor and I’m stuck with a defective product. Stay away from anything acer.
