> 3 dayPurchased two of these on August 18, 2019, one for my wife and one for myself. Fast forward to August 2020. When I open it and it wakes the screen is purple and blank. I have to close it and open it again and when I do the screen is all staticky and has vertical lines running through it. I have to close it again to get them to go away. Dont expect it to last much longer. Typical Acer crap.

> 3 dayJust last week I was bemoaning my 10 year old laptop which is a dinosaur and so slow! So imagine my glee when I was offered this Acer Chromebook 15 laptop to review! So first off, of course its WAY BETTER than my old laptop, so I wont compare it to that, Ill compare it to my relatively new work laptop which is an HP.

> 3 dayThis laptop is amazing...when it works. Every few weeks the touch screen capability stops working. Not gonna lie, that makes me really hate this laptop. We use it very gently for homeschool typing. There’s no reason it shouldn’t work all the time.

25-11-2024My first experience with cloud computing. This is great for websurfing or Netflix and chilling, but not for office productivity. I must operate Excel and Word and save files in that format. The extra steps required to download, upload, save to and convert files is too much of a hinderance for me to use this laptop. Gave it to the kid to play Roblox.

> 3 dayComputer is fine. I just learn that it is not compatible with my Cricut. I should have done more research on it. So now I have this computer and not able to use it for what I intended it for.

> 3 dayIm not into a lot of heavy stuff, so a Chromebook works great for me. I love the Acer Chromebook! It was easy to connect to the internet. I dont use the touchscreen on a regular basis, (Im used to a mouse), but it works fine. My last Chromebook was an 11.5 screen. My eyes are not what they used to be and Ive found that the 15 screen is just right. Fits perfect on the lap pad I have. The keys have a nice touch with a back light. Good battery life. Im happy with this computer.

> 3 daySo this chromebook is good. It is sleek, compact, and works great! However, its not a full laptop. You can access the internet on it and browse pages, check email etc. It is not a gamer pc. You cant download programs onto it. Or at least I havent figured out a way to download programs onto it. But, for browsing the internet its great! The battery charge lasts awhile and its portable to lug around with you.
